Hannah Landis
Hannah Landis is a college student living in Pennsylvania, USA. She enjoys teaching children, reading, writing, listening to 50’s music, stargazing, and learning the sport of knife throwing. She especially loves writing about real things that happen to her and the people she knows. The idea for this poem came from the many kites that she and her brother and sister lost to the tops of trees in their backyard when they were young. She remembers the childhood feelings of great loss and great triumph that this poem expresses.
