Jeanine DeHoney is a former early childhood assistant teacher, art enrichment teacher and family services coordinator. She has had her writing published in Essence, Mommy Too, Mused Bella-Online, Empowerment 4 Women, Quality Woman's Fiction, Skipping Stones, Mothering.com, The Write Place At The Write Time, Writing for Dollars, Breathe Again Magazine, 50 to 1, Wow'd Magazine, Literary Mama, and in Listen Up Magazine, and Together Newspaper. She also had an essay published in the Chicken Soup book series, "Chicken Soup For The African American Womans Soul," and has contributed to the blog Divine Caroline and Moms of Hue and has an upcoming story being published in the Whispering Angel Book "Living Lessons."
