Regarding Privacy:

[1] If the narrator is 16 or under, the film will not appear on the main site, will have it's own unique address and will not be publically viewable through smories.com.
However, if a third party, like the submittor of the film, then adds that to their website (which is in the public domain), we can no longer guarantee privacy. See examples of films submitted by authors under 17 yrs old here.

[1] If the narrator is 17 or older, the film will appear in a new section of the site and will be publically viewable.

All you need is an original narrated story.
Writer of story can be any age.
We can accept most formats from digital cameras, iphones, ipods, flips etc...
Max file size: 500mb
Max length: 10 minutes.
Only English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Afrikaans stories accepted at present.

We accept .mp4, .mpeg, .mov, .ogg or .wmv files. Your file can be up to 500MB, but remember that big files take a long time to upload

Uploading your video smory may take several minutes. So, before you press the Submit button, please take check you've filled in all the information we need and confirmed that you have read our Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

[1] Submittor of filmed story warrants that he or she is submitting original material, and that to the best of his or her knowledge and belief, he or she is not infringing upon any valid rights of any third party.

[2] Submittor warrants that story or part thereof has not been previously filmed and published online.

[3] If the submitted story infringes upon any valid rights of any third party, the submittor shall be liable, and not smories.com.

[4] In clicking the "Submit" button, the submittor grants smories.com the right to have the submitted film published on www.smories.com.

[5] This right can be revoked by the submittor at any time with 48 hours notice. (i.e. filmed story will be removed from www.smories.com at any time at request of submittor with 48 hours notice).

[6] All other rights remain with the story writer.

[7] Submission of film does not obligate smories.com to publish the film.

[8] Smories.com reserves the right to remove films from the website at any time, irrespective of circumstances.
