Red Dog and the Kangaroo Kidnapping

Billy has a very active imagination. He likes to pretend he's a great animal hunter named Red Dog. But when Billy's Mom has to go to Australia, he worries that she will never come home. He dreams that Red Dog follows his Mom to Australia where she is kidnapped by a giant kangaroo. When Billy wakes up he's worried he'll never see his Mom again. No matter what anyone says, he worries. Back in the dream, Red Dog finds Mom surrounded by a band of kangaroos who want to keep her with them forever. Red Dog swoops in and rescues her. Mom says, "Red Dog, you're my hero!" When Mom comes home, Billy tells her he was worried and she promises him she will always come home.
